TAMA DRUMS Starclassic Performance EFX
The Starclassic Performer EFX series was inspired by the mind-blowing visual effects created by our new Duracover finishes. These shimmering finishes aren't nostalgic recreations of vintage wraps of the past. They're new designs and colors created for a modern world.
Tama's new EFX series combines the great round sound and projection of the original Starclassic Performer's thin birch shells with the added protection and great looks of these exciting new finishes. Our Duracover finishes are permanently affixed to each shell with a 100% glued, high pressure rolling technique. This unique process ensures the covering laminate vibrates uniformly with the shell, so there's no compromise to the original full-bodied birch sound. In addition, Starclassic EFX shells have more resistance to humidity than drums featuring less consistent application techniques.

Accel Size Kits Deeper Bass Drum and Shallower Toms
More and more players are moving to shallower tom depths and deeper bass drums. For this reason, Starclassic Performer EFX kits can be ordered with Accel sized toms and 18" deep kicks. The availability of these sizes in the Performer price range represents a tremendous breakthrough. Accel sizes are also available in Tama's three gorgeous Duracover finishes. |

Deep Size Kits
For players who still prefer deep sized toms (1" deeper than Accel sizes), Performed EFX is also available in two Standard kits with 20" or 22" bass drums as well as a Fusion kit (hanging toms only) with a 22" kick. All catalogue kits feature 5 1/2" deep matching-finish snare drums. |

YAMAHA DRUMS Beech Custom Absolute The newest sound in drums, the Beech Custom Absolute stays with the tradition of single material design.
Newly Designed, All Beech Shells The bass drum utilizes an 8-ply, 10mm-shell construction while the floor tom and the 12- through 16-inch toms use a 6-ply, 7.5mm shell. The 8- and 10-inch toms also use 6-ply shells but 6mm thick. Their new designs place an emphasis on mid and low frequencies with just the right amount of power to deliver a well-balanced beech sound. | | |

Beech Shells and the Vintage Finish The Vintage Finish is a special synthetic resin finish that is applied by hand on high-quality wind instruments. While enhancing the tone of the beech shell, the Vintage finish also provides a durable, waterproof finish that virtually eliminates the influence of weather and humidity on the drum. Over the course of time, the color of the shell will change to a deeper hue that you will surely come to love.

Lugs The unique chrome body lug casings found on the Absolute series are fixed to the drum shell with only a single bolt allowing the drum to vibrate freely. A special nylon insert prevents tension rods from becoming loose during play.

YAMAHA P-120/P-120S ELECTRONIC PIANO
- Compact and stylish with authentic piano sound
- Graded Hammer Effect keyboard for realistic piano touch
- Dynamic Stereo Sampling delivers the ultimate in piano expression
- "To Host" PC inerface and 2-track sequencer
High-Quality Pianos and Other Voices The voices onboard the P-120/P-120S are among the very best available today. The piano sounds, in particular, are surprisingly realistic thanks to Yamaha's three-layer Dynamic Stereo Sampling technique, which triggers a different sample (from slightly struck to forcefully struck) depending on how hard you play the keyboard. A range of other commonly used instruments, including electric pianos, organs, harpsichord, choir, guitar and strings, are also provided.
Split and Dual Modes Split mode lets you select different voices for the left-hand and right-hand parts. Dual mode lets you combine any two voices together, such as piano and strings, to create lush timbres. The volume, fine tuning and transposition can be set individually for each voice within a dual layer or split.
Built-in Speaker System The P-120/P-120S feature a built-in stereo speaker system with 12.5 watts of power per channel, so you can turn them on and play whenever inspiration strikes.

ROLAND XV-88 128-Voice Expandable Synthesizer
- 88-note precision hammer-action keyboard with aftertouch
- Realtime control via 4 sliders and light sensing D-Beam* controller
- Accepts two SR-JV80-Series and two SRX-Series wave expansion boards
- Advanced arpeggiator functions
*D-Beam™ Controller technology has been licensed from Interactive Light, Inc.
With the VX-88 128-Voice Expandable Synthesizer, Roland combines cutting-edge XV-3080 synthesis - including its massive 128-voice synth engine and 64MB internal wave memory - with an 88-note hammer-action keyboard equivalent to the renowned A-90EX.
Perfect for use as a master controller, the XV-88 provides the ultimate playing experience when combined with the new SRX-02 "Concert Piano" 64MB wave expansion board. This new expansion board is the perfect match for the XV-88's precision hammer-action keyboard; 128 voices; expressive synthesis capabilities; and lush, studio-class reverb.
As Roland's best performance synthesizer, the XV-88 offers no less than four assignable Control/Tone Palette Sliders which can be used for controlling filter cutoff or envelope settings, to name a few. Front panel MIDI transfport buttons make it easy to start and stop an external sequencer when performing live.
The integrated D-Beam controller lets you send control change messages such as pitch bend and filter cutoff by waving your hand over an infrared beam of light. Combined with the Matrix Control, the D-Beam provides a wide range of motion for expressing the most delicate nuances.
With its 16 MIDI Zone capability, the XV-88's keyboard can be divided into 16 regions, each assigned to a different MIDI channel controlling both the internal synth and external MIDI gear. Combined with its built-in serial PC interface, the XV-88 can serve as the centerpiece of your MIDI studio or stage setup.
